Stockton Harbor
Waterfront Development Plan

Our Plan

Nestled in beautiful Penobscot Bay in Maine, Stockton Springs is a small coastal community located between Belfast and Bucksport. Stockton Springs is home to Fort Point State Park, Fort Point Light, Sandy Point Beach Park, and Stockton Harbor. The town is crossed by U.S. Route 1, U.S. Route 1A and Maine State Route 3, easily accessible from I-95. Our Stockton Harbor Waterfront Development Plan, once complete, will offer a variety of recreation opportunities for visitors.

The Stockton Harbor Waterfront Development is the newest coastal destination in Maine. Located in Stockton’s inner harbor, the development is set to be Penobscot Bay’s premier yachting and recreation destination by the summer of 2019. The Stockton Harbor Waterfront Development will be near various outdoor activities in the area, such as Sears Island, Sandy Point Beach, and more. Construction will follow a two-phase project:

2018: Stockton Harbor Yurts

With circular designs and spacious interiors, our waterfront yurts will offer all the modern comforts of your home, closer to nature.

2019: Stockton Harbor Marina

A 45-slip marina complete with accommodation for vessels up to 150′, a captain’s lounge, laundry room, en suite showers, fuel dock and more will become a beautiful and functional part of Stockton Harbor. The marina building will also have a waterfront restaurant and bar.

In addition, a general store will offer a variety of options to boaters and cruisers, guests at our yurts, and campers parked in the nearby RV park.
